Final notice

You have to pay the taxes within a two-month period. The tax assessment states the date by which the amount must be in our bank account. This date is called the due date (in Dutch: vervaldatum). If you do not pay in time, you will receive a final notice.

The costs of a final notice

GBLT charges legal costs for sending the final notice. You also have to pay these costs. The height of these costs is dependant on the amount you still have to pay.

  • Is the outstanding amount lower than € 454.00? Then you have to pay € 9.00.
  • Is the outstanding amount € 454.00 or more? Then you have to pay € 19.00.

The total amount to be payed is stated on the final notice. Please pay the amount due within 14 days of the date on the final notice.

If you fail to pay in time, GBLT will send you an enforcement order.

Pay the total amount on the final notice within 14 days. Or, in the objection, ask for a payment deferral. This can only be done for the disputed amount. Like the costs of the final notice. You do have to pay the outstanding tax amount. You will not get a payment deferral for that.
