GBLT sends a tax assessment for domestic waste collection to the resident or user of a plot. You will always receive an assessment, even if you do not dispose of any waste.
You pay a fixed rate per year for all types of waste. This includes residual waste, plastic, glass and green waste. The rate is stated on the assessment you receive at the beginning of the year.
There is a rate for persons living alone. And a rate for those living with two or more persons.
Please visit the rates pages to find out how much you have to pay.
Is remission possible?
Are you unable to pay this rate? Then you can request remission. Do you meet the rules and conditions for remission? Then you do not have to pay.
Read more about requesting remission.
Do you not qualify for remission? It is also possible to pay in instalments.
