WOZ-value and tenants

Do you live in indepenedent social housing? Then there are set limits to rent. One of the factors that influences the maximum amount is the property value (WOZ).

Looking for the property value (WOZ)?

You can find it at WOZwaardeloket.

Do you believe the property value (WOZ) is too high?

Look at the amount of rent you are paying. Is this the maximum fee? Then you can send a letter to GBLT. In the letter you need to state why you think the property value is too high. You have to send proof, A rental contract, or other document for example.  Is the value too high? We will let you know what your next steps are.

You can calculate the maximum rent on the  website of the rent commission.

Do you want to object to a rent that is too high?

In order to do so, you should go to the landlord or the 'Huurcommissie' (rent commission).

There are no effects to GBLT's tax assessment

Even if we adjust the WOZ value, your assessment will not be reduced. GBLT only uses the WOZ value for the property tax and the water system charge for property owners. You do not receive these assessments if you are only the user of a property.

The assessments you do receive from GBLT are therefore not dependent on the WOZ value.
