To object yourself or not

Considering your options?

Are you in doubt whether you know enough to lodge an objection? Please consider you know your property and specific circumstances best. You do not need anything else really. We find that people who lodge objections are typically more successfull than the onces using a intermediary.

You can easily check the WOZ value yourself

in just 3 easy steps you can find out if you need to lodge an objection.

  1. Download the valuation report in MijnGBLT under 'Mijn Documenten'.  It is named 'taxatieverslag'. In the report you will find all data we used to arrive at the property value (WOZ).
  2. Compare the valuation report with your own data. See if there are any differences and all information is correct? Is something wrong? Then you can lodge an objection.
  3. Estimate how much money you could get for the property if you had sold it last year. Compare this with the WOZ-value. Does it differ? Then you have grounds to object.

Do you own a residence (woning)?

Then the WOZ-waardeloket is also useful when checking the WOZ-value. In the WOZ-waardeloket you can look up the WOZ-values of all houses in the Netherlands. With this you can get answers to questions such as, 'do other similar homes in the neighborhood have a very different WOZ value? '

Go directly to the WOZwaardeloket.
