What GBLT correspondence will you receive digitally?
In the table below you will find an overview of correspondence we send frequently, and how GBLT will send it to you. This is only applicable if you signed up for GBLT in the Berichtenbox. All other correspondence will be sent by post by GBLT.

Would you like an email alert when you have a new message in your Berichtenbox from GBLT?
You can set this up by following these five steps:
- Log in to the Berichtenbox at mijn.overheid.nl.
- Select 'Instellingen' (settings) in the menu.
- Enter in your email address and Select 'Opslaan' (save) .
- Under 'Meldingen' (notifications) you can switch on alerts for new messages, and also a reminder if you do not open a new message.
- Select 'Opslaan' (save) at the bottom of the page to save your preferences.
Are you using the Berichtenbox app? Then press the icon at the top right of the screen. Turn on the 'Melding nieuw bericht' (alert for new messages) to receive an alert on your device.
Frequently asked questions about the Message Box
- What happens if I miss a message?
Don't worry. If you receive a message in the Message Box and don't open it immediately, the message will remain there.
You will automatically receive a reminder. - Can I switch back to paper mail?
Yes, you can. Would you prefer to receive paper mail again? You can always change your preference online. To do so, log in to the Message Box at mijn.overheid.nl. - Can someone help me switch to the Message Box?
