Using Berichtenbox

Would you like an email alert when you have a new message in your Berichtenbox from GBLT?

You can set this up by following these five steps:

1. Log in to the Berichtenbox at mijn.overheid.nl.
2. Select 'Instellingen' (settings) in the menu.
3. Enter in your email address and Select 'Opslaan' (save) .
4. Under 'Meldingen' (notifications) you can switch on alerts for new messages, and also a reminder if you do not open a new message.
5. Select 'Opslaan' (save) at the bottom of the page to save your preferences.

Are you using the Berichtenbox app? Then press the icon at the top right of the screen. Turn on the 'Melding nieuw bericht' (alert for new messages) to receive an alert on your device.

View your mail in the Berichtenbox

To view your mail from GBLT:

1. Log in to the Berichtenbox at mijn.overheid.nl;
2. Check the 'Recente berichten' (recent messages) section.
   Is the message from GBLT not listed there? Then click on the blue button to go to open Berichtenbox;
3. You click on the message from GBLT.
4. Click on the attachment at the bottom of the message to download the document.
5. Once downloaded, open the document to view and/or print the document.

Sometimes, after logging in, you will be presented with a 'Selecteer organisaties' (selecr organisations) screen first. This will allow you to specify the organisations from which you would like to receive correspondence in digital form. You will then no longer receive any paper correspondence. Confirm your selection by saving. GBLT will automatically receive your choice from MijnOverheid.

What GBLT correspondence will you receive digitally?

In the table below you will find an overview of correspondence we send frequently, and how GBLT will send it to you. This is only applicable if you signed up for GBLT in the Berichtenbox. All other correspondence will be sent by post by GBLT.
