Changes for multi-branch companies

Due to GBLT's connection to the Chamber of Commerce's Trade Register, we now use different data than you are used to from us. On this page we will explain what will change for you.

What will change for businesses with multiple branches?

  • Previously, each of your branches may have received a separate tax assessment. From now on, we will combine all tax assessments of all your branches in one single name. This is the statutory name of your company in the Trade Register. Is there no statutory name for your company? Then we will use the name of the partnership.

  • Tax assessments and other mail are addressed to the owner of the company. Branches therefore no longer receive mail from GBLT.

  • Are there any matters for your company still in process at GBLT? Then we will convert these to the name of your company as it appears in the Trade Register. For example:

    • an objection that GBLT is still processing;
    • a provisional tax assessment, for which you have yet to receive a final tax assessment;
    • a Water Board tax return;
    • a tax assessment that has not yet been paid in full.

    These matters will remain ongoing. However, we will from now on send any mail on these matters to the owner. Branches will no longer receive mail from GBLT.

  • You can easily manage your tax affairs at GBLT online in 'Mijn Loket' on our website. Here you can, for example, arrange payment in instalments or change your bank account. You can also see which tax assessments still have to be paid. You log in using eRecognition. From now on, branches will no longer be able to log in to 'Mijn Loket'. You may however be able to arrange this with your eRecognition provider.

  • Paying in instalments by direct debit will cease. This is because we put all tax assessments in the company name. Do you want to arrange for future tax assessments to be paid in instalments by direct debit? Then you will need to give GBLT your consent. You can arrange this in three ways:

    • Organise it online using eHerkenning in Mijn Loket on this website.
    • Download a consent form via this link.
    • Call us on 088-064 55 55 to have us send you a consent form.

    Do you still need to pay (part of) a tax assessment for this year or earlier?

    A tax assessment for this year or a previous year that has not yet been paid in full has to be paid in one single instalment. In 'Mijn Loket' on gblt.nl, you can check which tax assessment you have not yet paid in full. You can transfer this amount using eHerkenning in 'Mijn Loket', or via your bank, using these details:

    Bank account: NL82 DEUT 0319 8046 15
    In the name of: GBLT in Zwolle
    Payment reference: the assessment number

Frequently Asked Questions

  • GBLT cannot separate the tax assessments for your different branches. However, you can pay your taxes from separate bank accounts. Always include the assessment number with your payment.

  • You may use different bank accounts to pay your tax assessments. For example, you can pay tax assessments for your branches different bank accounts. However, you will then need to transfer the payment yourself using your bank. Always quote the assessment number with your payment.

    Would you like to pay in instalments by direct debit? Then GBLT will collect the tax assessment in instalments from a single account. This means you cannot pay your taxes from different accounts.

  • Automatic installment payment stops. Haven't paid part of your tax bill yet? If so, you must transfer the outstanding amount in one installment yourself. You can do this via My Loket, or through your bank:

    Bank account: NL82 DEUT 0319 8046 15
    In the name of: GBLT in Zwolle
    Payment reference:

    the assessment number

    You can again automatic pay in installments. This then applies only to future tax assessments. Tax assessments from this year or earlier must be transferred yourself.

  • In My Loket at gblt.nl you can see which taxes you still have to pay. Please note that only the owner can still log in via eRecognition.

  • You can change your bank account and/or add a mailing address. You can do this in 'Mijn Loket' or by sending a letter to GBLT, Postbus 1098 8001 BB Zwolle. Please note: the adjusted bank account or mailing address will then be used for all taxes and all branches.

  • GBLT will only send an information letter to the company owner. In it, we ask the owner to inform the company's other branches. We will not send those branches information separately.

  • We transfer the amount back into the bank account from which we received it originally. If we do not have a correct bank account, we will send you a letter.
